Job summary

Kearfott Corporation is seeking a Staff Accountant with 3–5 years of accounting experience to join the Accounting team. The role emphasizes fixed assets, CIP, depreciation, inventory management, and costing, with a strong focus on GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, experience with month-end close, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems; strong GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting activities related to fixed assets, CIP, depreciation, inventory, and/or inventory costing.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset and inventory-related GL accounts and schedules.
• Prepare and record depreciation and recurring journal entries.
• Support inventory accounting activities including reconciliations and costing.
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
