Job summary

A leading recruitment partner in Maryland is seeking an experienced staff accountant to manage monthly closing processes and general ledger reconciliation. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in accounting, with at least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing. CPA is preferred. This is a full-time position offering significant operational support within a growing team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressive accounting experience, experience with manufacturing a plus.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly closing and reporting activities.
• Prepare general ledger entries.
• Perform balance sheet account analysis and reconciliations.
• Assist with tax and statutory entries and reporting.
• Coordinate with Shared Services to facilitate timely billing.
• Ad hoc analysis of key business activities.
• Operational support to supply chain and production facilities.
• Improve close and reporting processes.
