Job summary

Prada Group's Finance Department is seeking a skilled accounting specialist to join our team. You will help prepare, analyze and maintain accurate financial records and reporting, ensuring compliance with control standards across the organization.

The role involves hands-on month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations and collaboration with other finance functions. This position offers growth in a global luxury company with diverse financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with GAAP proficiency.
• 3+ years accounting experience; Retail/Luxury experience is a plus.
• SAP experience preferred; strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management and organizational abilities.
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle large volumes of data and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; teamwork across departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting and other related duties.
• Assist in month end closing activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and adjusting entries.
• Analyze and reconcile select General Ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits and address inquiries.
• Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll and other financial accounts.
• Assist in audits, providing information and documentation as requested.
• Partner with other Finance Dept teams to maximize knowledge and communication flows.
• Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Support Senior Accounting Manager and VP of Finance with ad-hoc projects.
