Job summary

A national certified public accounting firm is seeking a Staff Accountant Intern for the busy season from January to April 2027. Interns will gain hands-on experience in tax and audit engagements while developing effective client relationships. Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, maintain a GPA of 3.20 or higher, and possess strong communication skills. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $31/hr and both remote and hybrid work options may be available.

Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance.
• GPA of 3.20 or higher.
• Preferred completion of at least one Intermediate Accounting course.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas.
• Conduct business-specific research and analyze data.
