Job summary

Novogradac is hiring Staff Accountant Interns for its busy season 2027, from January to April 2027. The internship exposes interns to audit, tax preparation, and research within a growing national CPA firm and may offer remote or hybrid work based on business needs.

Interns will complete engagements under supervision, develop client relationships, and gain real-life business experience while receiving competitive compensation and mentor guidance from partners and managers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; degree obtained is a plus.
• GPA of 3.20 or higher is preferred.
• At least one Intermediate Accounting course completed; CPA exam sit is preferred.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting and tax rules.
• Strong verbal and written communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients as directed by supervisor.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements.
• Conduct business research, analyze data, and prepare reports for principals and partners.
• Develop professional client relationships through reliability and follow-through.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
