Job summary

Novogradac invites motivated students to join our Staff Accountant Intern program for the 2027 busy season, from January to March 2027. Interns will gain hands-on experience across audit, tax preparation, and research within a growing national CPA firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; degree is a plus.
• GPA of 3.20 or higher.
• Coursework in Intermediate Accounting; CPA exam may be in progress or planned.
• Basic understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Strong verbal and written communication; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients as directed by your supervisor or manager.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements.
• Conduct business-specific research, gather and analyze data, interpret results, and prepare reports for principals and partners.
• Develop professional client relationships through reliability and follow-through.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
