Job summary

Novogradac is hiring Staff Accountant Interns for the busy season of 2027 in Philadelphia, PA. This internship provides hands-on experience in auditing, tax preparation, and client interactions. Candidates should be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a minimum GPA of 3.20. The intern will develop professional skills while working on tax and audit engagements. Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience.
• GPA of 3.20 or higher.
• Preferred completion of at least one Intermediate Accounting course.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas.
• Conduct business-specific research and compile reports.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively

Basic understanding of accounting and tax rules

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
