Job summary

Ferretti Search is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and the month-end close. The role spans multiple entities, accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, financial reporting, and audit support.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience (GL and/or AP).
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review accounts payable activity for accurate coding and reporting.
• Prepare monthly accruals, prepaid expenses, and reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and record cash activity.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate items.
• Record intercompany transactions and resolve intercompany discrepancies.
• Post journal entries for payroll, accruals, reclassifications, cost allocations.
• Support month-end/year-end close, audits, tax reporting, and process improvements.
