Coda Search is partnering with a high-growth global technology company that recently completed its Series D. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to join the core finance group in New York, gaining hands-on exposure across corporate accounting, cash management, and financial operations.

The role supports month-end close, fixed assets, AP/AR, and process improvements as the company scales in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience (public or private).
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, collaborative and adaptable in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, including accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Assist with fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and amortization.
• Process and review invoices with accurate coding, documentation, and approvals.
• Support daily cash management and maintain weekly cash activity reports.
• Research vendor discrepancies and coordinate with internal/external partners.
• Assist with AR collections and account reconciliations.
• Help prepare audit schedules and implement process improvements as the company scales.
• Provide analytical and administrative support to accounting and finance leadership.
