Responsibilities

• Perform accounting tasks including auditing, balancing, and analyzing account balances in the financial statements.
• Receive and process documents representing various financial transactions.
• Review classifications for accuracy against accounting criteria.
• Maintain journals, ledgers and financial records; determine total financial status of accounts.
• Evaluate input from each group and resolve discrepancies.
• Aid in budget preparation by extracting and analyzing financial information.
• Develop standard and complex financial statements and schedules.
• Assist staff regarding internal controls, reports, contracts and regulations.
• Notify management of system problems and suggest improvements.
• Interpret detailed agreements and apply them to transactions.
• Conduct special financial analyses as directed.
