Job summary

Technology Credit Union is seeking a Staff Accountant 2 in San Jose, CA. The role handles moderately complex accounting entries for investments, fixed assets, tax filings, and month-end close, supporting accurate financial reporting.

Required is a B.S. in Finance/Accounting or equivalent with 3+ years of accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills. The position offers a full-time schedule with standard hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ professional accounting work experience, including financial accounting operations, preferably in a financial institution.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and FAS.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Process full accounts payable and/or accounts receivable cycle monthly.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Record fixed assets acquisitions, depreciation, and disposals.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile GL accounts.
