Wilton Re is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant for our Connecticut office in Norwalk. This full-time role involves assisting with the quarterly close, journal entries, financial statements, and regulatory reporting in a hybrid work setting.

The position requires a solid foundation in accounting concepts, U.S. GAAP, and strong Excel/communication skills, with CPA or MBA a plus. Experience with Statutory reporting software and SOX controls is beneficial.

Formación

• Fundamental understanding of accounting concepts.
• Introductory level understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with MS Excel and data analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with SharePoint is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with quarterly close process including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and footnote disclosures per U.S. GAAP and Statutory reporting.
• Assist with regulatory reports and filings.
• Support SOX controls and data governance across Finance.
