Aristotle Capital Management, LLC in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and month-end close. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and the ability to learn within a collaborative finance team.

The position is hybrid in Los Angeles with a compensation range of $65,000 to $80,000 annually plus a discretionary bonus; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, and CPA is a plus

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficient MS Word and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and review invoices with proper coding.
• Assist month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Review corporate card expenses and reimbursements.
• Monitor vendor inquiries and payment status.
• Assist with annual 1099 filings and audits.
• Support budgeting analyses and management reports.
• Help implement internal controls documentation.
