Job summary

Travelpro is seeking a Staff Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and manage daily processes for assets, prepaids, intercompany activity, and journal entries. You will drive reconciliations, maintain audit-ready Excel workbooks, and partner with operations, finance, and management to resolve discrepancies.

The role emphasizes GAAP-compliant accounting, detailed documentation, and continuous process improvements across the general ledger. A strong Excel skillset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Three+ years of full-cycle corporate accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with complex spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger through analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Lead month-end reconciliations and resolve reconciling items timely.
• Maintain detailed reconciliation schedules and multi-tab Excel workbooks for audit trails.
• Prepare journal entries for fixed assets, intangibles, prepaids, intercompany activity and FX.
• Oversee expense analysis and reclassifications for accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with departments and leadership to support close processes.
• Support audits with schedules and analyses.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy.
