Elite Equipment Rentals is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Fort Worth team. This position supports the monthly close, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a multi-location equipment rental business.

The Staff Accountant will work closely with operations to ensure revenue, expenses, inventory, and fleet activity are recorded accurately and on time. A bachelor’s degree and three to five years of accounting experience are required; interest in financial planning and

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Three to five years of general accounting experience required.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Experience with Accounting/ERP software such as Acumatica, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Ability to prepare clear supporting documentation and manage deadlines with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support the monthly close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card activity.
• Maintain inventory and gross margin schedules and assist with physical inventory counts.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and record equipment additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting.
• Review revenue and expense activity, research discrepancies, and document resolutions.
• Coordinate with other locations to understand general ledger activity.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and key metrics for operations and leadership.
• Support budgeting and forecasting, including comparison of actual results to plan.
• Assist with sales tax filings, audits, and requests from tax specialists.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen processes and documentation as the company grows.
