Job Summary

As a Hotel Staff Accountant, the primary focus of this role is to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of revenue reporting and accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing daily revenue reports, ensuring the proper posting of all revenues, and addressing any discrepancies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Review of daily revenue report for errors
• Ensure proper posting of all revenues and statistical information
• Follow up on discrepancies of reports
• Balance daily revenue reports and roll over the day
• Generate DRR and email to General Managers and Corporate staff
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation, proper GL expense code and proper taxing
• Accurate and timely processing for all Accounts Payable records including proper approval prior to payment
• Reconcile and research vendor statements for past due invoices or payment discrepancies
• Communicate with vendors and respond to all payment inquiries
• Obtain vendor W9 and contact information for all new vendors added into M3
• Maintain accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate files
• Assist with month end closing
• Perform special projects and assist with other duties as assigned
