Job summary

Eat Clean Bro LLC, based in Eatontown, NJ, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. The role includes handling general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, A/P and A/R, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.

The ideal candidate should have 2–4+ years of accounting experience, be organized and detail-oriented, and proficient in Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and general ledger accounting.
• Experience preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger activity.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in general ledger, vendor, and customer accounts.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare account analyses and supporting schedules as needed.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules as part of the close process.
• Review account balances and investigate unusual or unexpected activity.
