Job summary

C & B Operations in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a full-time, salaried accountant. Compensation is based on experience. Schedule is 7:30 am–6 pm, Monday through Friday, with additional hours during month-end and year-end close.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or related field) and at least two years of accounting experience. Strong GAAP knowledge and Excel skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial files and documentation.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
