LHH is partnering with a well-established organization to hire a Staff Accountant who will support accounting operations, financial reporting, and cross-functional business initiatives in Tempe, AZ.

The role covers month-end close, reconciliations, operational accounting, variance analysis, and partnering with leaders to enhance processes and controls. A clear path for advancement, exposure to leadership, and a strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1+ years of corporate accounting experience.
• Experience in a midsize or large organization preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and operational teams.
• ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Support operational accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances.
• Partner with business leaders to improve processes and controls.
• Contribute to projects related to accounting operations and compliance.
• Support ad hoc analysis and special initiatives.
