Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team with minimal supervision. You will perform accounting functions, reconcile GL accounts monthly, and support special projects under the direction of Finance Management.

The position requires strong MS Office skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work with multiple departments. Pay ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, with full benefits including medical and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent with related experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting and GL processes.
• Experience with journal entries and month-end close.
• Ability to read and interpret financial documents and rules.
• Proficient communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Accounting support.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly.
• Perform special accounting projects as necessary.
• Understand chart of accounts and reconcile to subsidiary ledgers.
• Assist in preparing and entering journal entries.
• Prepare month-end entries and verify balances.
• Prepare bank analysis reports as required.
• Interface with customers, vendors, employees, and departments.
