Anticimex Carolinas is hiring a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in the Charlotte/Mint Hill/Matthews area. You will maintain the general ledger, support financial reporting, and assist with month-end and year-end close activities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of accounting experience, solid GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and 1–3 years of corporate accounting experience including general ledger and monthly close.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
• Able to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries and reconciliations.
• Record and reconcile daily cash activity.
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements and reporting.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
