Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least two years of general accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, SAP, Oracle, or another accounting platform.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Effective analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and consistently meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post recurring and adjusting journal entries.
• Perform bank, balance-sheet, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Review account activity and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Prepare account schedules and supporting financial documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
• Partner with other departments to resolve accounting-related questions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and internal controls.
• Perform additional accounting projects as assigned.
