Job summary

Alo Yoga is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our accounting operations, rotating through Accounts Payable and contributing to procure-to-pay processes. The role emphasizes accuracy, integrity, and proactive involvement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience in apparel/ecommerce industry a plus.
• Ability to execute deadline-driven processes in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal/external customers.
• Time management skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounts payable month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned processes.
• Develop monthly accruals with global accounting team.
• Ensure timely invoice processing for critical supplier accounts.
• Create detailed statement reconciliations for high-risk suppliers, collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to ensure timely and accurate request resolution.
• Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures with continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Participate in business-critical projects, including the design and implementation of new technology.
• Work with our international accounting team to efficiently facilitate our organization’s global growth plan.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies. Make recommendations for changes as needed.
• Assist with other accounting processes/projects as assigned by the AP manager.
