Job summary

The Hangout in Gulf Shores, AL is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our hospitality-focused team. You will ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of daily and monthly debits and credits to the general ledger, and support various accounting tasks.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least two years of experience; hospitality or property management accounting experience is a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits and a stable work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting.
• Hospitality industry experience is a plus.
• Experience in property management accounting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and post daily/monthly debits and credits to the general ledger.
• Perform bank reconciliations, income audit, sales taxes, intercompany transactions and GL reconciliations across multiple entities.
