Job summary

Venteon is seeking a Staff Accountant in the Grand Rapids area to join the team and support the month-end close by preparing journal entries and reconciliations. The role also involves assisting with consolidated financial statements, internal controls, and various financial analysis projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting and at least 3 years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP knowledge and excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting required.
• High level of US GAAP knowledge.
• Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills.
• Team player who can work well with other functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations to support the month end close process.
• Help prepare consolidated financial statements.
