Responsibilities

• Data entry and posting: Record financial transactions into the general ledger by posting journal entries for revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity.
• Account reconciliation: Verify the accuracy of financial records by reconciling bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable and all Balance Sheet balances.
• Month-end closing: Perform necessary accounting procedures to finalize financial records at the end of each month.
• Process definitions and improvements: Inspect current processes to determine more efficient ways to do business; write or edit Standard Operating Procedures.
• Auditing support: Provide documentation and assistance to external auditors during financial audits.
• Analysis and reporting: Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations.
