Job summary

Advanced Space, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant with 1–3 years of experience to support day-to-day accounting operations. You will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reports, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close under guidance from an experienced team.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and the opportunity to contribute to government contracting projects while building a solid foundation in core accounting tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of debits/credits, general ledger, and accruals beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Keep accounts payable running smoothly and ensure timely processing of vendor invoices.
• Support accounts receivable and customer billing processes.
• Help manage team member expenses and maintain supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end close and general accounting tasks.
• Keep accounting files organized, support audits, and document procedures.
• Collaborate with program managers, operations, and teams to meet financial requirements.
• Learn and grow by taking on new responsibilities and improving processes.
