Job summary

White Cap is hiring an Accountant to ensure proper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with GAAP. The role also prepares financial statements and reports to support decision-making.

The position emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and the ability to analyze trends and variances in financial data for ongoing operations and project accounting across our multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Experience with Oracle, Sage Fixed Assets, Alteryx or Power Automate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares basic to complex balance sheet reconciliations and resolves reconciling items.
• Prepares and enters journal entries; audits classifications for accuracy.
• Produces balance sheets, P&L statements, amortization and depreciation schedules.
• Generates ad hoc financial reports on a routine basis.
• Analyzes financial reports to guide reserves, assets and expenditures.
• Responds to GL inquiries and supports other departments as needed.
• Assesses trends, costs and revenues to forecast future financial performance.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
