Job summary

Bonaventure Senior Living in Salem, OR is seeking a Staff Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and tax preparation. You will perform bank and account reconciliations, post journal entries, and assist with month-end close while maintaining general ledger integrity.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must show above-average proficiency in accounting procedures.
• Two years of formal accounting education or an accounting degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completion of account reconciliations
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Preparation and posting of general journal entries
• Perform month-end close
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare month end and year end financials
• Prepare packages to be sent to CPAs for tax returns
• Prepare/Assist financial analysis for budgets and financials
• Miscellaneous and special projects as needed and assigned
