Job summary

Passport Automotive Group is seeking an Entry-Level Staff Accountant to launch your accounting career in a growing automotive dealership. You will support daily accounting across departments, handle AP/AR, deposits, and reconciliations, and assist with monthly financial statements.

You will learn dealership workflows closely with the Controller and Office Manager, building skills in inventory and flooring records while advancing into roles such as Billing Clerk or Staff Accountant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with dealership DMS systems a plus (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack).
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn automotive-specific accounting processes.
