Job summary

Syfan Logistics seeks an accounting professional to assist with day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations. You will process accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, depreciation and adjust journal entries, and perform account analyses with reconciliations.

You will also prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management, handle daily cash activity and bank reconciliations, and support year-end inventory counts and other accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business with accounting emphasis.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in a business environment.
• Experience with monthly accruals, amortization, depreciation and journal entries.
• Strong knowledge of office procedures and accounting theory.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day, monthly and year-end accounting operations.
• Process accruals, amortization, depreciation and adjusting/reclassification journal entries.
• Perform account analyses and reconciliations including bank statements.
• Prepare various reports for management on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Record daily cash activity and perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist with annual inventory counts and reconcile variances.
• Compile and report monthly financial statements to upper management.
• Support internal controls and financial reporting policies.
