Ryan & Wetmore, PC is seeking Full-Time Staff Accountants to join our offices in Bethesda MD, Vienna VA, and Frederick MD. You will work across tax, attest, and accounting engagements for a diverse client base, gaining hands-on experience and direct client interaction while developing expertise in tax strategy and GAAP accounting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience related to tax and accounting.
• CPA certified or eligibility to pursue CPA.
• Proficiency with personal computers and Excel.
• Strong organizational, time management, and adaptability skills.
• Experience in niches like construction, healthcare, real estate, IT, and more.

Aufgaben

• Perform audit procedures across cash, A/R, inventories, property and equipment, prepaid, A/P, accrued expenses, debt and income statements.
• Review accounting transactions and apply GAAP.
• Prepare financial statement footnotes and internal control observations.
• Research fundamental issues using online tools.
• Advise clients on corporate and federal tax issues, tax research and planning.
• Communicate with client personnel on tax accounting matters and internal controls.
• Meet client service expectations by adhering to time budgets and delivering quality service.
• Learn firm policies and standards through observation and inquiry.
