Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years in public accounting, CPA certification, and experience in supervision. The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and adoption of modern tax tools in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active CPA license (Required).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MST or MAcc highly preferred.
• Experience: 5–7+ years of progressive public accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Leadership & Wellness Focus: Prioritize staff well-being while delivering high-quality work.
• Strategic mindset with ability to translate complex tax concepts for clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Engagement Leadership: Oversee planning, preparation, and review of complex individual, multi-state, and pass-through tax returns.
• Strategic Advisory: Provide proactive tax planning, cash flow projections, and tailored financial consulting.
• Client Relationship Management: Build trusted client partnerships through responsive communication.
• Team Development & Mentorship: Coach staff and provide feedback to foster growth.
• Technical Research: Tackle federal/state tax issues with actionable guidance.
• Operational Oversight: Collaborate with leadership to optimize workflows and profitability.
• Tax Innovation & Growth: Leverage AI tools and tax software to expand services.
