Job summary

Johnson Health Tech Companies is seeking a Staff Accountant in Alabama to partner with IT, Product, Sales and Operations to improve business insights through accounting of operational activities. This non-supervisory role supports month-end close and reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of accounting experience, strong communication, and proficiency with SAP, BW, Microsoft CRM, Adaptive Insights and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year Associate degree; 4-year degree preferred.
• MBA or CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in progressively responsible accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports end month close process
• Reconciliation and maintenance of assigned general ledger accounts
• Calculates Cost of Warranty and Cost of Quality monthly billings and creates reports
• Assists in tracking of warranty related transactions and reporting
• Provides support in filing and reconciliation of our Sales Tax return process
• Provide entitlement summary by customer to sales team.
• Provide other required sales and payment clearing reports to the sales team and customers.
• Development and entry of monthly journal entries and reclassifications.
