Job summary

The Staff Accountant at Nine Energy Service will support the accounting team by preparing journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and performing reconciliations. You will assist with month-end close and provide analysis to help drive accurate financial reporting.

This role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least three years of experience, with preference for NetSuite exposure and oilfield services experience; strong communication with operations and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred with a minimum of three years of experience.
• Experience with ERP software; NetSuite experience a plus.
• Experience in Oilfield Services, Accounts payable, strongly preferred.
• Customer service skills for interactions with Operations and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain balance sheet schedules.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations and assist with monthly close.
• Document financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Assist in preparing management reports and meet reporting deadlines.
• Analyze variances and support budgeting and cost comparisons.
• Resolve discrepancies and support audits.
