Job summary

SurfaceCycle is seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant to manage balance sheet accounts and perform transactional accounting in a fast-paced environment. You will own weekly and monthly close, cash application, AP, fixed assets, and ERP-related inquiries, contributing to accurate financial reporting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and 2+ years of experience, with strong Excel and ERP knowledge. On-site Westminster, CO provides competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Construction industry experience a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, etc.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple and competing priorities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain effectiveness under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Month and weekly close duties including reconciliations.
• Cash application for receipts and discrepancy resolution.
• Manage accounts payable for one company.
• Maintain fixed assets register and depreciation records.
• Administer corporate credit card platform and expense coding.
• Prepare financial reports and support ERP questions.
