Job summary

• Develop automated accounting routines in systems like Oracle to streamline financial processes
• Interpreting accounting data, analyzing reports, and recommending actions for financial optimization
• Preparing complex journal entries, maintaining detailed ledgers, and performing cost account reconciliations
• Assisting in the development and implementation of advanced accounting systems and cost accounting methods
• Establishing and managing property accounting records to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Overseeing the work of junior accountants, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and reports
• Generating financial reports and analyses for management review, highlighting key financial trends
• Recording monthly transactions with detailed journal entries and substantiating documentation for audit trails
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Preparing complex journal entries, maintaining detailed ledgers, and performing specific cost account reconciliations
• Assisting in the development and implementation of advanced accounting systems and cost accounting methods
• Establishing and managing property accounting records to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Overseeing the work of junior accountants, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and reports
• Generating financial reports and analyses for management review, highlighting key financial trends
• Calculating and processing payments to regulatory authorities, reviewing contracts and regulations for compliance
• Ensuring balance sheet integrity through comprehensive reconciliation and verification with source documents
• Recording monthly transactions with detailed journal entries and substantiating documentation for audit trails
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
