Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Staff Accountant Capital Projects at the Savannah/GAC site to perform financial reporting and analysis across capital projects. You will maintain the general ledger, prepare managerial and financial reports, and assist in closing activities.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 2 years of related experience, and proficiency with Excel. Experience with SAP and ASC 842 is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance or CPA may offset 1 year of experience.
• Proficient in MS applications, Excel is required.
• Strong technology expertise in other applications a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Analyzes and maintains a complete and accurate general ledger; prepares managerial and financial reports.
• Prepares and compiles financial data to support schedules and deadlines.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules for closing.
• Reconcile assigned accounts and prepare documentation.
• Identify problems and potential improvements to existing systems and processes.
• Prepare schedules, reports, and presentations for management.
• Monitor journal entry process to ensure accurate financial statements.
