Qualifications

• 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships, co‑ops, or full‑time roles).
• Basic understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting function.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation of the accounting infrastructure/systems and establish department processes and best practices.
• Manage the recording of revenue, cost of revenue, and collection of cash.
• Assist with treasury and cash management functions.
• Prepare and post journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close activities.
• Complete various local and municipal taxes and filings.
• Help develop and maintain compliance with internal controls over financial reporting.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
