Lakeside Foods, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial reporting, account reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, compliance activities, and other key accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 1–5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (SAP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and analyze accounting records, transactions, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare journal entries and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial projection activities.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support internal and external audit activities through preparation of schedules and documentation.
• Maintain fixed asset accounting records and reporting.
