Job summary

Community Dental Partners in Denton, TX is seeking a Staff Accountant to support general accounting and bookkeeping, with responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations and accuracy of financial records.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting, experience in accounting (healthcare a bonus), and proficiency with Microsoft Office and typing. This is a full-time on-site role reporting to the CFO/Controller.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Prior accounting experience preferred, healthcare experience is a bonus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; good typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries including accruals.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts at month-end.
• Maintain fixed assets; ensure GL/subledger alignment and depreciation.
• Assist with annual external audit, 401k audit, and tax prep.
• Support CFO/Controller with accounting and administrative tasks.
