WPLG, Inc. is seeking a versatile Staff Accountant in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale market.

The role spans Operations Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll & Benefits, requiring meticulous planning and coordination of resources to optimize financial outcomes. You will interact with Controllers and AR/HR teams, handle journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting, and contribute to process improvements across the accounting function.

Formación

• Understanding and knowledge of accounting terms, journal entries and financial statements.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Fluency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Pivot tables a plus.
• Maintain confidentiality of information exposed to during business process regarding executives, managers, supervisors and other employees.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and remain flexible under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Process and apply daily cash receipts and prepare supporting documentation for audit trails.
• Reconcile daily traffic logs and prepare daily sales pacing reports.
• Assist with fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Update monthly journal entries and support schedules.
• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Process payroll-related tasks and benefits administration.
• Maintain employee files and assist with audits and reports.
• Post job openings and handle clerical/admin duties.
