Job summary

Atrium Staffing client, a growing real estate company in Miami Beach, seeks a Staff Accountant to join the finance team. You'll manage full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, GL, AP/AR, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close.

Strong Excel skills and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance are required; CPA progress is a plus. An Excel assessment is part of the hiring process.

Salary is $65k–$70k plus benefits, with room to grow as the company expands in South Florida.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, including financial reporting and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, review and post journal entries, and monitor transactions for completeness and accuracy.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and customer collections.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes while coordinating with other teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and forecasts, monitor performance, and provide variance analysis.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Assist in preparing tax returns and support audits while ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Work with external advisors and internal stakeholders to support accounting and financial reporting initiatives.
