Job summary

AngelList seeks a Staff Accountant for AP & Procurement to own the procure-to-pay process across this multi-entity environment, applying accounting judgment to invoices, managing vendors and POs, and coordinating intercompany payment cycles.

You’ll use automation to build scalable processes while maintaining accuracy and strong controls, and you’ll support month-end close with thorough schedules and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience with ownership of accounts payable at volume.
• Debits and credits are instinctive; able to advise on classifications, prepaids, accruals, fixed assets.
• Hands-on NetSuite and Ramp experience, preferably in a multi-subsidy environment.
• Proven track record of improving inherited processes with automation.
• Able to explain coding decisions to a controller and assist non-finance colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own AP, code invoices with judgment. Classify expenses, capitalize assets, amortize prepaids, and manage annual 1099s.
• Run procurement end to end: PO management, vendor onboarding, and process improvements.
• Automate for scale: improve Ramp and NetSuite integration to reduce manual tasks while preserving controls.
• Support month-end close: manage intercompany AP activity, consolidation tasks, and audit-ready documentation.
