Job summary

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations in Vienna, VA. The role focuses on accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience with exposure to AP, Payroll, and GL.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely manner.
• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare and post journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
