Job summary

Flatiron Construction Corp. is seeking a Staff Accountant to analyze financial information and prepare accurate reports to guide business decisions. This role is based in an office location in Atlanta and is not remote.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information to transact journal entries to the general ledger.
• Reconcile financial information for balance sheet accounts in detail.
• Identify reconciling differences and coordinate with team to resolve them.
• Reconcile bank accounts for assigned companies.
• Perform intercompany billings and ensure intercompany accounts balance.
• Perform progress pay estimate billings for all companies.
• Assist in month-end closing schedules and entries.
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Assist with sales and use tax filings.
