MPI, a multi-million-dollar manufacturing organization near Woodridge, Illinois, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and month-end close. The role reports to the Accounting Manager and offers exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional collaboration with C-suite executives.

The Staff Accountant will handle AR/AP, cash monitoring, journal entries, and financial reporting, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibilities in a growing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Accounting Manager on day to day accounting functions.
• Support the month end process.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Review AR and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Review the balance sheet and P&L to ensure accounts are accurate and properly classified.
• Monitor cash flow and treasury needs to ensure sufficient cash is available.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with journal entries.
• Handle ad hoc accounting projects and analysis as needed.
• Provide general support across the accounting function.

Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional collaboration with C-suite executives. The Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business unit, including month-end close activities, accounts receivable and accounts payable, cash flow monitoring, treasury-related functions, and financial reporting.

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
