About the Role:

The Staff Accountant will provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including accounts payable, general ledger, and account reconciliation. The Staff Accountant also assists with other financial matters as needed.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience/Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years of Accounting Experience
• Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm
• Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
  
  

Essential Functions:

• Completes all bank statement reconciliations and other cash reporting to include other required downloads from bank
• Maintain general ledger accounts and monthly reconciliations
• Responsible for final approval of all AP invoices and employee expense reports in NetSuite based on company SOP
• Assists corporate officers, branch personnel, and external property management as necessary
• Assists Controller in monthly closings entries, reconciliations and other duties as assigned
• Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
• Process AP credit card payment files on a weekly basis based on departmental SOP
• Provides management and reconciliation of company credit cards
• Responsible for accounting needs related to setting up new accounts
• Assists in Accounting Specialist role as requested
