CSI Leasing, Inc. is seeking an accounting professional to join our finance team in Missouri. The role focuses on lease accounting, reconciliation, and journal entries to support a growing asset management business.

You will work within a collaborative team to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to GAAP. The position emphasizes strong analytical and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
• General understanding of GAAP.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills; organized and able to multi-task.
• Experience in Excel and other spreadsheet applications.
• Detail oriented and thorough in work.

Responsibilities

• Determine accounting treatment and recording for leases and payoffs.
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income/expense accounts.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Record business transactions for warehouses and provide accounting treatments.
• Prepare workpapers in support of other projects.

This person will work within a growing team to contribute to a wide variety of projects that are instrumental to the company’s success. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Determine appropriate accounting treatment and recording business transactions for leases and payoffs
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income/expense accounts
• Prepare journal entries
• Recording business transactions for warehouses while providing accounting treatments
• Prepare workpapers in support of other projects

You will be a good fit for this position if you have:

• Have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience)
• Have a general understanding of GAAP
• Possess strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills along with being organized and having the ability to multi-task
• Are experienced in Excel and other spreadsheet applications
• Consider yourself to be detail oriented
