Montage International is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage accounts receivable and payable and assist the Controller in directing financial activities in accordance with GAAP and hotel standards.
The role supports month-end close, financial reporting, and tax preparation while interacting with vendors and clients. Strong Excel/Office skills and prior finance experience are required; Opera experience is preferred. This is an onsite hotel finance position in Washington, DC.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for managing all accounts receivable and accounts payable. This role assists the Controller in directing the financial activities of the hotel, safeguarding the assets, and preparing all financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and hotels’ standards.
Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems. Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours a day. Walking and standing are occasionally required. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. This position requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
The pay scale for the Staff Accountant position is $35.00 per hour. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
